BIOGRAPHY

God is using Evangelist Chris Hill to help to redefine the scope and influence of the post-modern pulpit. Over the past 5 years of his traveling and speaking ministry, literally millions of people, young and old, have been impacted by his unique message of Hope.

Chris is no novice in the Faith or to the pulpit. He became a Christian and began to preach the Gospel before he was five years of age. Born the product of a broken family, he was raised in the inner city ghettos of Roxbury, Massachusetts, in the United States of America.

His mother came to know Christ when Chris was only 7 months old. She struggled hard to raise him and his sister in a very poor but pious home. It was that home and his church family that became his oasis in the inner-city desert of gangs, drugs, poverty, violence, and crime. It was in this environment that Chris learned the Power of a Dream. While still a child himself, God gave to Chris a Prophetic Dream about his future, and it is that Dream that has carried him around the world.

Because of his humble beginnings, he is also no stranger to hardship. But this process of pain has produced in Chris a powerful way of connecting with people. He has learned how to speak effectively to the human condition. In various positions of service and ministry, for over two decades, he has established a proven track record for helping people to learn how to Discover, Develop, and Deploy their God-given Dreams.

Having served as an urban Youth Pastor, an Author, a Professor, an Activist, and an International Evangelist, he comes armed him with a fresh and global perspective. His insights into the Word of God are both reverent and relevant enabling him to hold the attentions of both the young and the old alike. His animated and articulate approach produces a griping delivery that simultaneously captures both Saint and Seeker. Add in his heart grabbing stories and sidesplitting humor, and you can begin to understand why Chris Hill has become a top national and international speaker, in both sacred and secular circles, in such a short time.

Just prior to pioneering his own ministry, Chris faithfully served as the Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor of the Potter’s House in Dallas, Texas. While under his leadership, the church’s youth group grew to number in the thousands and eventually grew to be one of the largest Youth Churches in America.

Now under the rapidly expanding umbrella The Hill Communications Group, a worship record label, a publishing company, and CHMI are all developing and flourishing under his innovative leadership and direction. Chris is working tirelessly to unlock and energize the Dreamers, resource restoration, evangelize lost people, and to network leaders and organizations. Through his traveling, speaking, writing, preaching and leadership hundreds of thousands of people are being impacted each year.

Chris resides in the city of Dallas, in the great state of Texas, in the South Western region of the United States of America.
